- Opened in 2006, Dismal River Club is a private golf residential community owned by Chris Johnston and a few of his associates.
- It's a par-71 course, stretching out to 6,913 yards from the tips.
- Features expansive fairways, rolling hills, native blow-out" bunkers, and challenging green complexes.
- Facilities include a rustic style clubhouse, dining facilities, fitness center, fishing and hunting.
- Hole number 15, a short, par-4 with a two-tiered green is often referred as the signature hole.
- The course is seasonally operational, peak season is typically between May and October.
- Roughly four hours drive northwest from Omaha, Nebraska.
