- Founded in 1989, it is member-owned since 2016. Previously owned by Sherwood Development Company.
- Par 72 course. Total yardage is 7,025 yards. It has 18 holes.
- The course is marked with spring-fed lakes, waterfalls, and a pristine terrain.
- Full-service Clubhouse, Tennis facility, Fitness center, and Swimming facility.
- The 18th hole, called Sherwood Lake", due to its water surrounding the entire green.
- The course is open year round, with the best conditions in Spring and Fall.
- Approximately 40 miles west of Los Angeles International Airport. Take US-101 N freeway to Thousand Oaks.
- Nearby accommodations include the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. No on-site accommodations.
